Jim Creighton
Jim is the Chief Investment Officer of Creighton AI, where is he responsible for managing the research agenda and leading the R&D work.
His extensive experience in investment management and research includes Global Chief Investment Officer roles at Barclays Global Investors, Deutsche Asset Management and Northern Trust. He was also a Managing Director at Trafalgar Capital Management in the 1980s where he worked with Harry Markowitz to develop minimum variance strategies that are still in use today. From 2006 he has focused on applying machine learning to global stock selection and portfolio construction, developing a long list of innovations applying machine learning to investment strategies, which forms the foundation of Creighton AI.
Jim has an MSc in Actuarial Science from Northeastern University in the US, a BSc in Mathematics from Dalhousie University in Canada, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries.
